Cyprus Wine

Hardly any other country in the world has contributed as much to the world of viticulture as Cyprus. Cyprus is home to some fifteen indigenous and sixty imported varieties of vines! Two local grapes, the white Xynisteri and the Red Mavro are the traditional grapes used in the making of these wines. The Xynisteri used for making white wine is found in Cyprus on some 5,000 hectares, i.e. 13% of the wine-growing surface. The Red Mavro covers some 14,000 hectares, about 70% of the vine- growing surface of Cyprus.

Kathikas Village

Kathikas Village dominates Laona Region of Akamas. It has been famous since the ancient times for its high quality wine. The "VASILIKON KATHIKA" winery binds to continue this tradition in quality and also the art of creation.

White & Red Dry Wine

From a vineyard expanding in 120 hectares of land in total, we present these two fine wines:-

After a successful and noble meeting of the cosmopolitan varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenach and Mataro with the Cypriot indigenous wine grapes, we are proud to present these unique wines that can rarely be found anywhere else in the universal vinic chart.

The careful vinification, the correct maturing and the appropriate ageing in the cellars guarantee quality from the first until the last step.
